One Step Forward, One Ripped Back

Well, I didn't knit much on my little jaunt. When I did knit, I made a mistake, and since I hadn't moved up my life line to the half of the repeat, I had to rip back to the beginning of it. So my progress is about where it was, if not less. **cue the DOH!** Which means it is NOT ready for tonight as I hoped, but that's ok. I have another scarf that matches what I plan to wear.

My trip was really nice. Did some work, got some training, got some more training and learned a bunch. Like - driving in Houston stinks. And - eating in a nice nice hotel is pricey. lol Actually I had a great time. I learned some new stuff that helps me with pain, and that is worth more than it's weight in gold!

I'll get back to the lace soon as I can. I'm still recouping from the trip. It's starting to look like I don't knit much on trips. I always take knitting and I never do much with it. Wonder why that is? Seems like other knitters knit away like mad on trips. Oh well! Maybe I'll figure it out one of these days.

Until I resume knitting, here is an interesting sky pic I saw while driving the other day. Clouds are water, yes, but sometimes clouds look like the ocean to me, and this is a good example of that.

Cool photo! I think it looks like little pillows (but I'm tired so everything looks like pillows at the moment!)

I don't knit a lot on trips either. I'm usually too busy doing stuff or resting having done stuff!

Love the picture. I tend to knit while I'm the passenger in a car and the children aren't screaming. Other than that, I don't usually get to knit on trips much either. Something about chasing those same children around?!?
